### Holding

<details>

<summary>What is Arbitrum and the Arbitrum One Network?</summary>

While the Autonomi Network [isn't blockchain based](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/help-and-support/broken-reference) it works with common blockchain payment systems to make the Network accessible and easy to integrate alongside other decentralized solutions.

So Autonomi Network Tokens use the Ethereum payment system for this reason.

But in order to make payments efficient and low cost, Autonomi Network Tokens utilise Arbitrum Network—which is what is know as an L2 blockchain—which sits oin top of Ethereum. This means much lower transactions fees (known as Gas) even for small amounts of data, than if it were to use the Ethereum main net directly.\
\
Arbitrum One is simply the name of the live production network,

So, speaking practically:

* Any Ethereum address can receive Autonomi Network Tokens
* You'll need an Arbitrum [compatible wallet](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/using-autonomi-tokens/holding/compatible-wallets)
* You'll also need to [configure it so you can see and use your tokens](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/using-autonomi-tokens/holding/add-arbitrum-network)

### Buying

<details>

<summary>Are Autonomi Tokens available on a DEX?</summary>

**Yes!** You can buy and trade on decentralized exchnages like [Uniswap V3 and PancakeSwap](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/using-autonomi-tokens/buying#decentralized-exchanges). On decentralized exchanges the token typically appears as `ANT`.

</details>

<details>

<summary>BitMart isn't available in my region, what can I do?</summary>

It's an unfortunate fact that most centralised exchanges aren't available to everyone everywhere, do to the complexities of local regulations.\
\
However, you can in many cases still use [Decentralized Exchanges](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/using-autonomi-tokens/buying#decentralized-exchanges) (DEX) to buy Autonomi Network Tokens, in conjunction with an exchange you can access in your area.\
\
For example: Use Coinbase to buy some USDC, then [use Uniswap](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/using-autonomi-tokens/buying/via-uniswap) to exchange this for `ANT`.

### Earning

<details>

<summary>How much does a Node cost?</summary>

**Nothing!** In fact, you get paid for running a node, or as many nodes as you want. They are designed to run on everyday computers.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What sort of computer do I need?</summary>

Autonomi nodes are designed to work on everyday home devices. So even relatively modest-performance computers will happily run a node, or even many nodes at once.

Each node uses around 35 GB of storage space, as well as some CPU, memory, and of course Internet bandwidth.

Our easy-to-use [Node Launchpad](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/help-and-support/broken-reference) software is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.

Many people use typical home computers, or even RaspberryPis, to contribute to the Network.

There are options for more advanced users to utilise their headless computers, home servers, or virtual environments.

But we'd encourage you to start with what you already have. It's probably right in front of you.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How many nodes can I run?</summary>

A typical home PC will be able to run several nodes at once, and you can start nodes on as many computers as you like. We'd recommend you start just a few nodes to begin, and then add more gradually as your computer and Internet connection capacity allows.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How much can I earn?</summary>

How many Autonomi Network Tokens you can earn depends on a number of factors such as:

* How many nodes you are running on your devices
* How long, and how reliably they are storing and serving data
* The demand for data storage on the Network at a given time

So while we can't give you a direct answer, we can recommend you dive in and give it a try. It's straightforward and even, dare we say it, fun!

### Converting MaidSafeCoin

<details>

<summary>Do I need to convert all my MaidSafeCoin in one go?</summary>

**No!** You don't have to convert all your MaidSafeCoin in one go. You could choose to try the process with a small amount first, should you wish.ou could choose to try the process with a small amount first, should you wish.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens to my MaidSafeCoin if I leave it on an exchange?</summary>

If you leave your eMAID on the BitMart exchange after the 6th of February, it will automatically be converted to Autonomi Network Tokens for you.

If you have MaidSafeCoin on another exchange you will need to withdraw it and [follow the process to convert](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/converting-maidsafecoin/process-overview) it by receiving the Autonomi Network Token airdrop.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How long do I have to convert my MaidSafeCoin to Autonomi Network Tokens?</summary>

The final deadline to convert is **February 3rd, 2028,** with the very last airdrop happening on February 3rd, 2028.\
\
We'd recommend you [follow the instructions](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/converting-maidsafecoin/process-overview), and convert well in advance of this deadline.

<details>

<summary>Will my Autonomi Network Tokens be air-dropped to Ethereum Mainnet, or Arbitrum One?</summary>

While Autonomi Network Tokens can be received by any Ethereum wallet address, your tokens will be airdropped via the **Arbitrum One Network**, not the Ethereum Mainnet.\
\
You'll need to [Add Arbitrum](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/using-autonomi-tokens/holding/add-arbitrum-network) to your wallet app, and [import the token contract](https://docs.autonomi.com/token/using-autonomi-tokens/holding/import-the-autonomi-token) to be able to see and use them.

<details>

<summary>When burning eMAID, the field says <code>uints256</code> does that mean one eMAID is 1, or 1000000000000000000?</summary>

As the units are in `uints256` format, you must type them asn a 18 decimals integer.\
\
So 1 token would be written as `1000000000000000000`

</details>

<details>

<summary>When entering my ETH Address, do I include the leading <code>0x</code>digits?</summary>

**Yes!** You should paste in the address in full including the digits `0x`at the start

</details>

<details>

<summary>When adding my ETH wallet address, is it case sensitive?</summary>

**No.** Casing doesn't matter. Just paste it across as it is.
